Holley MoParty 2021: A Blown 1964 Polara By An Old-School Hot Rod Builder

Bill Rowe says that he’s a Hemi Guy, and that if he’s going to build something it’s going to have a Hemi in it. We think that’s pretty alright, don’t you? This bad ass blown Hemi powered Polara is full size Mopar greatness and I love it. These old Mopars are cool, look great with some tire and a blower, and who wouldn’t want one with a Hemi in it? It’s fitted with a 392 with a BDS blower and dual quads and he’s done it just right. Bill’s normal is earlier cars, but we think he did a great job working on this one. Check it out.

Video Description:

Bill Rowe’s 1964 Dodge Polara is an interesting case study. From certain angles, the B-body presents itself as a nicely restored example…which it is. At the other end…namely, the front end…you find a blown 392ci Hemi under the hood and a blower whine that can’t be mistaken. All from a gentleman who tends to prefer much earlier iron, like his beautiful ’34 Plymouth that was parked nearby! https://www.holley.com/products/ignit… https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_…

Love the car…not sure why you would cut a hole in the hood for an alternator. Seems like there ought to be some kind of low mount or reverse mount available to avoid that. But, still a very nice car.
