700 Horsepower And Hand Controls: This Chevrolet Blazer Is Awesome In All Of The Right Ways!

700 Horsepower And Hand Controls: This Chevrolet Blazer Is Awesome In All Of The Right Ways!

It’s a kind of bizarre admission, but every now and then I wonder how I would function as a paraplegic. With everything I’ve done over my lifetime, I’ve had plenty of situations presented that, if luck was not on my side, could have wound up with my brain and legs no longer on speaking terms. I don’t say that lightly, either…with everything that I enjoy doing in life, it would take monumental amounts of effort to even be satisfied with day-to-day things. Which makes the owner and driver of this K-5 Blazer that much more inspirational. The Chevy is a cool piece: 700 horsepower, no roof, plenty of tubing inside, hand controls, air-shifted automatic, and enough grunt to play in the 11-second bracket class during a race at Gateway, but it’s the driver’s optimism and genuine happiness at what he’s able to do that is the best part of this video. Win or lose, this guy has the right outlook on life after being dealt a bad hand.

Thanks for the kind words and your interest in Open Container. I am still blindsided by the attention. P.S. Sometimes I can be an ass when life has it’s days, but you do what you have can and wait for tomorrow. I am just out having a blast as much as possible!
