We love our trucks around here. We love them more if they are seasoned, able to work, and simple to maintain. And if that same truck isn’t rotted, bashed beyond recognition and running, all the better, which means that when we laid eyes on this 1969 Dodge W200 Power Wagon, our attention was completely taken over. Somehow, this rig has made it through 46 years of life with minimal scarring and has only covered a tick over 8,000 miles. And after looking at the pictures, we believe it.

From the ad: For Sale is a 1969 Dodge W200 Power Wagon, and its in amazing origional condition for its age due to spending most of its life as a fire truck. It origionally belonged to the Wilsonville/Hendley Nebraska fire department until i bought it about 6 years ago. It has a 318 engine and a 4-speed transmission. The pickup runs great and needs absolutely nothing mechanically. The body is in excellent condition with the exception of the holes in the two rear fenders where the fire department had installed a strip of sheet metal to extend the fenders to cover dual rear wheels, and there is no rear bumper on it. The tires on it are probably origional and have quite a bit of life left in them but they are kinda hard, I also have two more matching wheels and tires because the rear duals were removed. It currently has 8020 origional miles,but may have just a few more depending on when I get it sold. I am asking $8500 or a reasonable offer, I might consider only a partial trade and the rest in cash.

I’m almost willing to bet it still has that new-truck smell. I have zero idea what that would smell like for a 1969 Dodge, but I’m wanting to find out.
