Is This Camaro Too Far Gone? Or Is A Hot Rod Always Worth Saving?

Is This Camaro Too Far Gone? Or Is A Hot Rod Always Worth Saving?

How many times have you, or one of your buddies, brought a project home that you just KNEW could be saved but everyone else that looked at it thought it was junk? Or how about those cars you see sitting in fields when you drive by. You know you look at them and get excited, even though your brain says run away. So what is too far gone? Does it depend on where you live? Logic has us knowing how much work is too much, and logic tells us that spending more at the start is better than replacing sheetmetal. But for some reason we forget it when we get too excited about a project.

So what do you think. What is too much?

Body only
there is no drive line, no front suspension, no rear end

has a/c box, wing parts, front clip, rear window, some interior parts, I have doors and hood but not pictured

I would like to sell all of it in one shot or trade, make me an offer must go!

Good circle track project or parts – no title

no title = worthless. in hawaii once theres no title
only the last registered owner can get a new one,
otherwise the car can never be legal on the street again.

otherwise. it dont look half bad…..but then again ive been
hit in the head a LOT, so………

But if you do that there is one less savable classic on the streets. Compared to what we deal with in Alaska, this thing is mint.

  2. KCR

looks pretty rust free, good body parts .Or a tube chassis race car .Don’t need a title for either of those. Trade him a used weed eater for it . That way you feel like ya got a bargain

For crying out loud, the guy tells you what you should do with it! Make it a circle track car! Put a Mopar or Ford in it! Let it get bashed into an unrecognizable hulk, it’d be an improvemnt over when it was new!

(Does that make me a flamer?) 🙂

$200, more if you know anybody needing a front clip for collision repair. More if you can get a title after a VIN check in your state. More if you have another and need a parts car. But not MUCH more in any case.

Worth 50 bucks just to shoot at it with a shot gun .
I just laugh anytime anyone is trying to sell something without a title . If they ever owned the thing legally they should apply for a new title first . This should be a hit for a federal cop to show up and confiscate it .
