Meet Franky: Turn Heads At Every Car Show With This Quirky Paul Franks Painted Hot Rod!

Not only is this 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air wacky and quirky and cool, but it’s also had all the important stuff done that makes it fun to drive. We happen to know this car well and can tell you that the thing is super clean. It’s the perfect car show and swap meet cruiser. Throw your buddies and the cooler in this sucker and drive in like you own the place, because when you are in the Frankenstein Mobile you do! This car was designed and painted by Paul Franks who needs no introduction, and is currently owned by a guy who is super well known in the aftermarket and car industry. It’s cool as hell.

1963 Chevrolet Bel Air Frankenstein Car 1

One of a kind – created and hand painted by Paul Frank. The Frankenstein Mobile has classic monster looks and a vintage race car feel. It drives nice, powered by the original 283 V8, it has a rebuilt powerglide automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. The wheels have been upgraded to vintage 15″ corvette steel wheels. The interior features Frankenstein silk screened on vinyl and custom sewn upholstery by Paul Frank. The dash is painted flat green. The fuel system and cooling system have been rebuilt. The window rubber needs to be replaced and there are some rust spots due to the leaky windows. The trunk pan has some small holes. The floors and the frame are solid. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt a few years back. There is a small crunch above the left rear tail light. The mileage is unknown – the odometer reads 9,999 miles. It is currently registered, insured and has a clear title. This is a very fun and unique vehicle.

I had to google Paul Franks. I found many, none of whom seemed to have anything to do with cars. So, why should we know the name of the man who needs no introduction?
