Our cavalcade of show galleries continues! We’re staying in Texas this time, but heading to the city of Freeport for the Texas Joy Ride Classic Car Show. Our man Charles Wickam was on the scene to shoot this show and he did a bang up job of it. We’re certainly not predicting the demise or imminent decline of the rat rod, but there seems to be less of them than even just a few back. 

There’s all kinds of goodness in this gallery and we’re not ashamed to admit that as of recent times, so-called “fat fendered” cars have really got our attention lately. There are some great examples of mid to late 1940s stuff in this gallery. Those cars have some serious style.
