Charlotte Goodguys Fall 2013 – The Cool Photos and Killer Cars YOU Want To See!

Charlotte Goodguys Fall 2013 – The Cool Photos and Killer Cars YOU Want To See!

(Photos by Bob Chiluk) – There was one heck of a shindig down in Charlotte last weekend and BangShift contributor Bob Chiluk was there. The Charlotte Auto Fair fall edition is one of the biggest and last shows to happen in the southeast each year. You’ll recognize the setting as the Charlotte Motor Speedway, one of the most famous and cavernous circle tracks in the country. The infield is home to the show, which included a swap meet and an autocross. As Bob will show you through his photos, this event had all kinds of stuff out and about. The nailhead powered Ford is a thing of absolute beauty, finished to a near picture level of perfection. There was also more ratty looking vans, trucks, muscle cars, and other hot rods. We dig the fact that his action photos from the autocross include stuff like roadsters which we normally don’t equate with the fun to slaying cones. It is great to see attitudes about driving cars changing and more and more people being seduced by the competition side of things outside of power parking.

We think that Bob Chiluk’s gallery from the Charlotte Auto Fair is more of a photos essay. You’ll see scenes from the field, the swap meet, the autocross, and more. What’s better than old parts, cool cars, and hot competition? Nothing in our book! Hi the link below to see all of Bob’s work from Charlotte!

Thanks for the photos, Bob!

Wouldn’t this be the Goodguys Southeastern Nationals, Not the Auto Fair? They are different ya know.
