Event Coverage: The 2010 Symco Shakedown, With Fire!

After seeing event coverage from both coasts, BangShift reader Shane Hansen sent us a load of 400 photos from the 2010 Symco Shakedown that happened back in August. The event is a traditional hot rod show that is held in Symco, Wisconsin, and Shane’s photos tell the story of a big, fun event. We want in one the mini-bike drags and exhaust flame thrower action!

The event is geared toward stuff that is older than ’65 and styled to that period as well. If you have a 1957 Chevy with 22-inchers, we’d recommend riding shotgun with someone. They will allow stuff that falls outside of the rules in, but not in the main show area. In other words, you’ll be in another section of Wisconsin. We’ve got no issue with that, their show, their rules.

As you’ll see be the more than 400 photos Shane sent us, this event is big and getting bigger. Viva la traditional rods!

A HUGE thanks to Shane for the photos! He’s getting some BangShift.com stuff for the hookup!
