The Goodguys Blue Suede Cruise is one of the biggest and coolest car show/drag races held anywhere in the country. Combine the true awesomeness of Summit Motorsports Park with a humongous crowd of customs, hot rods, muscle cars, and drag race iron and everyone wins. There is something for everyone’s taste in this gallery, whether you dig nitro or tail draggers.

Doug (know as LS7GTO on the BangShift forums) is a Rodders Rep for Goodguys. He finds himself to lots of the Goodguys shows and always has his camera by his side. We’re sharing nearly 300 of his photos from the event with you in this gallery.

One interesting note from the drag race portion of the race, the Tri-State Racing front engine fueler did something truly remarkable during the weekend. This fuel burner ran 5.96 seconds, which is great all by itself but becomes truly mind-boggling when you learn that the engine in the car uses a factory ZL-1 block! One of the more rare and sought after factory Chevy parts is handling a few thousand pissed off horsepower in the front of that slingshot. Congrats to the team on that feat, it is neater than neat.
