(Photos by David Moore) – Last weekend’s SoCal Challenge, held at Adams Motorsports Park in Riverside had both good and bad elements. The good was a great group of killer pro touring cars hammering the course normally reserved for go karts and the bad was the fact that they had Chad as the announcer. I jest! Chad said that the event was really well attended and these photos from David Moore prove that the iron on the course was well sorted and just plain bitchin’. There’s a Sunbeam Tiger in this gallery that we’d do unspeakable thing to gain ownership of.

All this gallery does to me is to continue my daily weather study hoping for an early spring so I can get out and hammer the daylights out of Buford T Justice and have some fun like these guys are having. Keep your ears open wherever it is you live because events like this are spreading like weeds all over the country and that is a great thing. It doesn’t matter if your stuff is bone stock or worked like the famed “Hellboy” pickup truck below, it is all about having fun, becoming a better driver, and hanging out with like-minded gearheads! Ditch the lawn chair and buy a helmet! Oh, and play “spot the BangShift sticker” as you’ll see a bunch on cars in the gallery!
