Hundreds Of Photos From Joe’s Minibike Reunion 2012: Customs, Hot Rods, Ruckus, CT’s, You Name It!

Joe’s Minibike Reunion was awesome!!! We showed up around 10:30am and the place was packed. Folks had started rolling in before 8 am, and were having a really good time. We have to say, this was the best group of Minibikes we have ever seen. Super trick custom bikes, originals both restored and not, along with Honda Mini Trails, CT-70s, and a killer group of Ruckus scooters. Plus a bunch more cool things on two wheels that were sitting out on the curb. And, we even got to go for a ride on one of Joe’s cool bikes. If you are into Minibikes you are going to love the photos we got. Cool stuff, and a great location in La Crescenta. There was good, fun, and thousands of dollars in giveaways for the show participants, and for spectators. It truly was bitchin. We’ll let the photos and videos below speak for themselves. You have to come to this show next year, it’s totally BangShift approved and we’re already working on Joe to have RACING!!!! sponsored by BangShift.

Chad, you need to go get yours. Then let Cole ride it so you will never see again…….until he gets a car.

Mini bikes remind me of the twin engined FUEL!! mini bike that raced (and beat) a yellow 427 BBC powered 57 Chevy short bed pick up in the parking lot of the Indy High School Road Holiday Inn during the 1969 US Nationals. That bit of crazyness led me to put an X-6 Suziki engine in my mini bike to win the crazy person title for the upcoming 1970 event. Luckily I sold the screamer before I splattered myself all over the pavement. Crazy days !!

My uncle and I went over 60 m.p.h. on a blue Honda Mini-Trail.
We got a rolling start on a steep half-mile hill that led to a dirt road shutdown area.( I think he had me along just for extra weight).
That really was a lot of FUN!

Does anybody know anything about that clutch that looks like a drag-bike slider? Is it custom or does somebody make those?
