(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Since late last week we have been showing you the photographic handy work of Charles Wickam at the Lonestar Round Up 2014. Even with all we have showed you so far, there’s one thing we have not given you a peek of yet. The actual show! Everything we have published to this point has been from the myriad of cruises, open shop nights, and hangouts that happen before the actual scheduled swap meet, car show, concert, and festival that the Lonestar Round up has become. Wickam reports that this year was bigger by about 20% than last year in size and scope. Apparently it was so big that the venue was full to capacity with event organizers having to hastily fork over more cash to open whatever reserve space was left at the venue.

Lacking my usual flowery exaggerations, this gallery of photos is one of the coolest we have ever run. I found myself looking at every car and then freaking out a little because the next one was better than the previous before it. You’ll see some real bare-fisted straight axle style cars in here along with beautiful customs, and some traditional hot rods. We’re going to have more show coverage each day but we’re not sure it is possible to top this gallery. If anything, you’re going to see an amazing testament to the quality of cars that the Lonestar Round Up 2014 was able to draw in and there’s more where this came from.
