SEMA 2015: The Cars (and Trucks) Of The Mopar Display

SEMA 2015: The Cars (and Trucks) Of The Mopar Display

There are many OEM manufacturers that maintain a solid presence here at SEMA. Obviously people know that Ford and Chevrolet are here each and every year as they maintain huge, sprawling dedicated floor space in the mammoth central hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Companies like Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, and Nissan also have a presence here as well. Chrysler via Mopar is well represented in their usual spot which is a highly trafficked area in the wheel and tire building. Over the years they have done stuff like create “Mopar Alley” which was a walk lined with classic and modern hot rodded Mopars and other fun stuff. This year Mopar bought out an interesting crop of hot rodded cars and trucks to show off at SEMA and those machines to a good job showing off how diverse the brand is.

The stuff below is not ALL of the iron from the Mopar area but it is the stuff that caught our eye and made us stop and click the shutter button on our camera. Personally, we’d want the Cherokee Chief with the new supercharged Challenger drag pack behind it on that beautiful open deck aluminum trailer. Can you imagine pulling into a race track with that rig? You’d be the toast of the town before the race car even turned a wheel, right?

OEM support is a big deal for SEMA and Mopar continues to bring entertaining stuff. Take this for a preview as Mactaggart went nuts and shot every single car and will give you the 411 on all of it in the coming days. Security had to drag his big ass out of there before it was all said and done.

Here’s a look at the notable Chrysler/Mopar factory modified machines at SEMA 2015 –

As a Life-Long Mopar and AMC nut, I swore I’d never buy anything from FCA. That Chief might change my mind.
