There have been a pile of notable 302 engines over the years. Sure, everyone defaults to the tried and true 5.0L Mustangs but you have to go back way farther than that to really see where the 302ci displacement came into its own.

The GMC 302ci “Jimmy” engine was a boon for hot rodders back in the day. This lump would bolt into the same places other puny six engines did and it made lots more power. Plus there was an aftermarket for these engines and they can still be found powering land speed racing cars and vintage hot rods all over the place. The mill was as tough as nails and still is.

Of course there was the Chevy 302 which powered the vaunted Z/28 Camaros, the Boss 302 Ford, the 302 Windsor engine and now there’s the 302ci Coyote engine that’s the staple V8 of the Ford family in modern times.

Once we got through those we wracked our brains to find more of them but we ran dry. Did we forget any? Maybe a tractor engine here or there or something of that nature? We compiled a group of videos below that show what we think is just about every 302ci engine you could think of. Certainly all that we could think of!
