Going Street Stock Racing? Hooker RacingHeart Small Block Chevy Street Stock Long Tube Headers Are For You!

The world of street stock racing has never been larger or more popular than it is today. This means that the competition is even more fierce and that any advantage you can gain in your car could make the winning different in your program. The RacingHeart brand of headers that is overseen by Holley/MSD has released new street stock headers that fit 1973-1988 G-bodies and 1970-1981 Camaros as well.

If you are a savvy knower of things GM you are also thinking what we’re thinking and understand these will fit even more applications, right? These are stainless steel headers with beefy flanges that will keep the pipes sealed in the harsh environment of the stock car track. Dirt or asphalt and anywhere you want to go, these babies are the right pick. There are different tube sizes available depending on your application. These will work with both straight and angled plugs and a short oil filter is needed for proper fitment.

Here’s the word from RacingHeart headers on their new street stock long tubes –

Holley/MSD is pleased to announce the release of RacingHeart Small Block Chevy Street Stock Long Tube Headers, which are a perfect fit for 1973-88 GM G-Body vehicles (Monte Carlos, Malibus, Regals, Cutlasses, and Grand Prixes) and 1970-81 GM F-bodies (Camaro and Firebirds).

Available in two different finishes – natural stainless steel and black-painted mild steel – they come in three different sizes to accommodate numerous applications: 1-5/8 x 3”, 1-3/4” x 3” and 1-3/4” x 3-1/2”. They’re compatible with both straight and angle-plug cylinder heads but must be used with a short oil filter. The header flanges are 3/8” thick for maximum strength and sealing, and the collectors feature merge spears for increased exhaust velocity.
