Level Up: Ford Performance Now Offering Suspension Leveling Kits For F-150 And Ranger

Ever since the day you brought a new Ford truck home, there’s been a nagging little voice in the back of your head. You know the one. Proudly sports a “Warranty Violator” plaque on the wall in their office in the corner of your brain. That little voice that keeps reminding you that if you just lifted the truck, just a little bit, that you coudl do so much more with it. You could be the neighbor pulling stuck cars out of ditches in snowy weather. You could be the guy who is comfortable all the way down the trail en route to the hunting cabin, instead of putting up with that old lifted beast that your buddy Mike has that doesn’t even have working heat…unless you count the roasting from the engine bay bleeding through the firewall as proper heating. And, of course, you would look butch compared to all of those unmodified trucks roaming around town. Just a little lift…it won’t hurt.

Well, now it really won’t hurt. Ford Performance has teamed up with FOX Shocks to put together a dealer-installed leveling kit that brings the nose up two inches in the front to level the truck out, as well as improving approach and breakover angles, and increasing ground clearance. The kits are composed of new upper front mounts with polyurethane bushings, front coilover springs, and aluminum FOX shocks optimized for each model. Ford tested these kits in stout conditions, including high-speed runs in California desert and rockcrawling sessions in Arizona to make sure that these kits are strong enough for whatever you think you have to throw at them.

The kits will cost $1,495 before installation and will work on any 2019 Ranger or F-150 with four-wheel-drive, and are designed to be installed at the dealership. A Ford Performance Parts limited warranty is included. Ordering the kits will open up later this fall.
