When new stuff shows up at Nobody Else’s Auto, yard owner Chad Ehrlich lets everyone know. Through social media, YouTube videos, and more, he shows just what is on hand at his place and let me tell you it is a lot of cool stuff. We’ve known Chad’s family for a few years now and they are awesome people with an amazing passion for everything cool and old and automotive. And because of Chad’s insatiable drive to make sure the yard is full of treasures, it truly is. There are dozens and dozens of killer projects that I would love to start on, and the same thing is true for everyone that walks through it. The place is organized, the parts are legit, and sometimes some really special stuff comes through the gate.

This week Chad had a Dodge truck come in that is awesome. Now everyone knows I’m a huge GM guy, Chevrolet’s to be specific, but there is a special place in my heart for these old Dodge trucks. When David Freiburger and I were doing CarJunkieTV back in the mid 2000’s he had an orange Dodge truck that had a Slant Six, 4.10 gears, and a three on the tree and we drove it everywhere. It was our parts runner truck and it was awesome. Did you want to make a long road trip in it? Maybe not if you had plans to get there quick, but if you wanted a cool old truck to drive then this thing was the bees knees my friend.

Well this truck here in Chad’s yard is WAY better. It’s a short bed, V8, with the dash mounted shifter and everything. This truck is pretty cool and I could see someone buying this one, lowering it some, keeping it on bigger steel wheels, and just driving it like it was your job.
