Iron Trap 1932 Ford “DeLorean” Roadster: It Looks Perfectly Sh*tty Bolted Back Together

This week’s video is all about making this car whole again, and if you think the title of this one means that anyone is disappointed in this car you are sadly mistaken, because this car has just the right look. Tell us what you think.

Iron Trap has got all kinds of great projects, but this ’32 Ford Roadster is going to be something. It’s weird to see them getting new parts for a car like this, but it is the right choice to make this car as “original” as possible. Check out the two videos below that show how this project is getting started and then follow along as we’ll bring you regular updates.

Video Description:

Now that the chassis and body for the 1932 Ford Delorean Roadster have been bolted back together, it’s time to fully assemble the car! Matt pulls down all of the pieces that are stashed on the pallet racking and gets started with the rear fenders. When Matt purchased the car in Detroit the front fenders were not bolt on, just sitting below it. We are not positive if these fenders were on the car originally as the passenger side mounting holes did not line up with the frame. After some adjusting, Matt got the fender to fit and bolted up the grill, hood and windshield. After a nice warm CLR bath the Delorean roadster looks so much better and is ready for some light paintwork to cover up the repairs!
