Derek at Vice Grip Garage is giving away his Plymouth Duster but not before putting some new parts and stuff on it so that it is ready for you to enjoy once you win it. And he’s sharing the build process with all of us, so that we can fall in love with it. It’s already been on the show before, but now it’s going to get some real upgrades so it can be a good driver, and more importantly a throwback to the ’70s.
Let’s see what he comes up with, how it turns out, and what it takes to take this thing home as your own.
It’s time to tackle the exterior transformation on our 1973 Plymouth Duster. We’re going to clear coat it, paint the hood matte black, and add custom vinyl decals. We’ll top it off with some new tires and wheels. Bonus – How to repair runs/drips in clear coat!
