If you are a closet Carpenters fan, we’ve come up with an excuse for checking them out on the web that won’t get you in trouble with your car buddies. It turns out Richard Carpenter is a car collector and has some really cool examples of classics and muscle cars in his collection. Richard’s collection includes several ’56 to ’60 models who’s fins may have influenced the famous flare of the bell bottoms he and sister Karen wore in the ‘70s. Richard is most definitely a Mopar fan, given that half of his collection consists of Pentastar products, and one of our favorites is a 1 of 55 ’71 Hemi Roadrunner. The site is set up very nicely with good pictures and history for each car. And for those of you who just have to check out those killer ‘70s album covers, they are available on the main page as well.
