The kits are available in multiple levels which can include as many or as few of the parts that the end user needs to have on hand to complete the job. Premium kits come loaded from top to bottom with gaskets, bolts, seats, and lifters to get the job done. Basic and Standard kits do not include the gaskets and some of the bolts that the premium kits do.

COMP Cams® DOD Delete Kits
Memphis, TN – New COMP Cams® DOD Delete Kits allow for removal of the Displacement on Demand/Active Fuel
Management System on Gen IV 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L GM LS engines.
The kits are available in three different levels, each containing components needed to remove the systems that disable four engine cylinders under light-load conditions to improve fuel economy, but also limit performance in the process. A Premium kit includes lifter trays, head gaskets and bolt kit, exhaust gaskets, harmonic balancer bolt, LS3 valley cover, timing cover gasket and seal, water pump gaskets and 16 OE-style drop-in lifters — everything needed to complete the job. Basic and Standard kits do not include exhaust gaskets, harmonic balancer bolt, timing cover gasket and seal or water pump gaskets. Additionally, the Basic kit comes with only 8 lifters, to replace those in DOD/AFM-affected cylinders.
