Building A Chopped, Sectioned, Roadster 1949 GMC Pickup From Spare Parts Is Cool

Building A Chopped, Sectioned, Roadster 1949 GMC Pickup From Spare Parts Is Cool

We’ve spotlighted some of the videos from Halfass Kustoms before and as a regular viewer I am always intrigued and inspired by what he puts together. This project is just for filler in between other projects, but is a 1949 GMC pickup that he cut the top off of, chassis swapped and sectioned to make look cool as could be. It’s ultra low buck, like most of what he does, but when it is done it will have style for days and be a fun driver I’m sure. In the two videos below you’ll see him section the hood so it fits right, and install a dash and steering column from a Pontiac in the thing, plus work on the windshield and suspension. It is far from done, and will continue to be the project he works on between other projects, but it sure is cool.

It’s funny, because you’d think a guy living in Canada wouldn’t be interested in some roadster of any kind, but he is and we are so that is cool!
