Cheap E-Bay Caddy Blower For LS Engines Made Easy! Pump Gas Boost Baby!

These Cadillac superchargers that came on the STS-V and XLR-V, with the 4.4L LC3 Northstar engine, are a pretty cool little supercharger and they are flooding the market for sale cheap. Apparently there was some large quantity of new superchargers that came available after a distributor shut down. Of course that’s just one of the stories I’ve heard. Regardless, these things are available for $400 to $500 and should be able to make some power. The big challenge is getting the thing bolted to an LS engine as the port locations, bolt patterns, etc. are all off. Thankfully, there are a few companies making adapters that can get you where you need to be. There are other challenges, but you’ll see how to overcome them in this video from Richard Holdener.

Here is the video description:

HOW TO: CHEAP EBAY CADILLAC SUPERCHARGER ADAPTERS! CHEAP CADILLAC SUPERCHARGERS ARE ALL OVER E-BAY AND THE INTERNET, BUT HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM FIT ON AN LS? Farking NOOBS.
THAT AIN’T HOW YOU HOOK A SKINNY-PORT BLOWER MANIFOLD TO A NORMAL-SIZE V8 PORT. POWER GOING TO SUCK 4000-UP. YOU ARE GOING TO BE FORCED TO MAKE ADAPTERS THAT CONNECT THE INTAKE PORTS OF (IF FIRING ORDER = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) =
    FIRST AND FIFTH
    SECOND AND SIXTH
    THIRD AND SEVENTH
    FOURTH AND EIGHTH
    >>>>you will have to figure out which cyls get connected together by writing half your firing order above and half below each other. then refer to a diagram of how you cyls are numbered – to finally say “on my engine i’d have to connect . . .”
How big the passage? Take the size of the big port in square inches/millimeters and subract the area of the smaller port >>>> that area difference must be supplied by the connector pipe..
    WHO OUGHT TO HAVE HAVE A SHOW N O W , CLOWN HOLDENER wannabe mechanic . . .
