Edd China’s Workshop Diaries: Is The Mini Rally Build Finally Complete?

If you’ve been following our Edd China Workshop Diaries videos then you know that he’s been working on a friend’s Mini Cooper rally race car. The thing came in for what should have been a weekend of work to replace all the suspension for racing, and instead turned into massive amounts of repair work to parts of the car that the suspension mounts to or to the parts of the car where the subframes attach to. There were a combination of new problems and installation issues they weren’t prepared for, and repairs they did know about that ended up being much more involved than anyone thought they would be. Overall this project has been somewhat of a nightmare, but one we can all relate to as we’ve found ourselves in the same position on more than one occasion. Haven’t you?

Check out the video to see just how this project gets finished up.

Video Description:

After months of battling with our Rally car conversion on my mate Neil’s Mini, the end seems tantalisingly in sight but is this finally going to be it? Is the Rally Mini finally going to leave the workshop in pursuit of adventure on the open road, or is there just one more twist in the tale?
