Here’s A Simple, Organized, And Convenient Way To Store Your Clamps In The Shop

Here’s A Simple, Organized, And Convenient Way To Store Your Clamps In The Shop

I started watching Ron Covell’s videos primarily because he is a metal shaping master, and I am not. What I’ve come to realize is that Ron’s insane amount of experience means he also shares some of his tips and tricks, home built tools, and sometimes just simple ways to solve everyday problems. Clamps in the garage or shop are one of those problems. They tend to find themselves on top of workbenches, stacked in drawers where the one you want is NEVER EVER EVER on the top, or slid under the workbench where they once again find themselves not on top. Unless you are looking for something else, and then the biggest C-clamp you have is always on top of whatever that is. Call me a liar.

So in this short video Ron shows us how he stores his C-Clamps and Spring Clamps in the shop, and a couple other ways to do that same thing with different materials. I have to say, the C-Clamp storage is one I’ve used and like, but the spring clamp storage is so stupid simple and perfect that I plan on using that one when I start making new work benches for sure. Check out the video below and let us know if it inspires you to get in the garage and get organized.
