Sleeper Exhaust Build: This 650 Horsepower LS Turbo Volvo Is Going Stealth For Ultimate Sleeper Status

I know this is going to make me sound old, but I like quiet cars. Not always mind you, but more and more. The exception is when something has a real camshaft in it that just sounds nasty. But a low compression, small cam combo shouldn’t have a loud exhaust. And one of the best things about turbo cars is the fact that they are inherently quiet. But what if your turbo car is a sleeper style ride that you don’t want to garner any more attention that absolutely necessary? You know, something like this turbocharged LS6 Volvo wagon. Yep, Volvo wagon. I know, it’s awesome and you love it. This is why we are friends.

So in this video there will be some exhaust fabrication to make this thing quiet as humanly possible, including the use of not one, but two mufflers, plenty of v-band clamps, and some 3.5 inch mandrel bent tubing. Imagine how well this has to work, since this turbo combination would already be pretty quiet if it had nothing but tubing going all the way out the back, with no muffler. But no, this sucker has both a Vibrant and a Borla muffler to cut down on anything and everything that might sound like high performance.

Me personally. I am not a fan of either mufflers on anything. Or, underwear on a woman. Both just get in my way when I really don’t have time for that.
