Watch Wray Schelin From Pro Shaper Sheet Metal Build A Jaguar E-Type Nose Out Of Aluminum. Sheet Metal Awesomeness Right Here

Sheetmetal work is one of those things that I would just love to be good at. I have never spent much time working sheetmetal, mostly because I don’t have many of the tools, but it is one of those skills that I really want to learn. I understand the principles, and have done a little bit of stuff, but one thing that I have learned is that there are A LOT of tools for working sheetmetal but not all of them are large or expensive. I say this because I think that I need to work on getting some of the smaller tool, some of which you can make yourself, and then I need to go to some classes so I can learn just how to use the right tools and which ones I need to get first. There are a lot of ways to use sheet metal fabrication skills when working on a hot rod, race car, or truck, and I know that using those skills to the fullest can be the difference between a cool project and something over the top.

In this series of videos, Wray Schelin from Pro Shaper will show us just how to make a complete Jaguar E-Type nose out of aluminum. This is an incredibly daunting task, but one that Wray breaks down into it’s simplest parts and goes after it. If you don’t learn something and also end each video thinking Wray is a bad ass, then you clearly have a screw loose. This guy can form some metal and the way in which he does it is truly an art. If you want to learn from Wray, you can do that too as he has classes on all kinds of metal shaping so that guys like you and me can learn how to do more than cut and bend the stuff.

Watch this series and you’ll dig it, we promise you.

Fascinating for those of us who have no idea how these craftsmen do this. Very thorough explanations and shares a wealth of knowledge.

What a fantastic series! Thank you for putting it up, I\’m at work and watched this for 3 hours so far!

Great videos Wray. I have learned a ton of tips watching and I have only finished watching 5B so far. What I really like though, is that I can anticipate what your next move will be because I took a couple of your classes years ago. Easy to understand. Best videos ever. Thanks.
