This C10 Short Bed Sits Right, Has Great Patina, And Is West Texas Perfection

This C10 Short Bed Sits Right, Has Great Patina, And Is West Texas Perfection

Lowered C10 Chevy pickups are arguably one of the more perfect things on earth. We LOVE seeing them lowered at just about any level, and the truth is all years look great when closer to the earth. Sure you can lift them and make them cool too, but this particular C10 is lowered greatness and I am in love with it. It’s rough, but in all the right ways. And the interior is all new, although that is probably my least favorite part of the entire truck. But the stance is right, the patina is cool, and so is the pinstriping.

Here is all the info from the seller:

Completely brand new upholstery done 2/5/18 (seats, carpet, headliner, sun visors, headliner, wrapped dash and center console, and repainted door panel and interior plastics). Bought this truck completely stock and had been sitting for about two years. Began to build it just 3 months ago so everything on this following list is what I have done new to it. It’s an ’86 C10 short bed with a Silverado package so it’s power everything. Has a 305 with a 400 trans with a shift kit. Can be driven anywhere. Redid the A/C to R34 and had the pressure lines made new as well. Both a/c and heat work but they’re stuck in the both dash and underdash vents so doesn’t blow as hard as if it were just blowing from the upper dash vents. Had the emissions removed from under the hood and had the carb tuned to run better. Starts up every time. Clean title in my name. You can text me at (915) 247-6828 if you’re interested. If you try calling, I don’t answer unknown numbers so leave a message if you’d like and I’ll get back to you.

I just don’t get why people will take all day to tell you everything and I mean everything and then when there is nothing left to tell you but the price they say , “For more information cal ……..”
Right there just tells me they are asking way too much for what ever they’re selling . Like if I get you to call I can hook you the rest of the way . It just doesn’t work for me . I will never call .

I agree with Dan. That interior says Boat all over it too. Still a pretty cool truck though.

Two things I would remove from that truck, console and the drop kit. That console is really tacky with the subwoofer and speakers. 5.5/7 drop kit doesn’t look like It would be a comfortable ride.

I don’t care for the interior, but I love the rest of the truck. Makes me wanna drop mine that extra inch. Who’s ready to add another squarebody to the Bangshift fleet?

the Gigantic lump between the seats needs to go
half the fun of of owning a truck is the bench seat where the G/F can slide over

peeling clearcoat IS NOT PATINA !!!

I do not understand lowered vehicles in general, and trucks especially. Why take all the functionally out of a truck?

A small lowering job I completely understand. Makes the bed height lower, easier to get stuff in and out, though this example is too low to look sporty, it looks like it’s in the “silly” range.

Never can get behind short-bed stuff either. Looks goofy to me, and isn’t as useful a space. Also, patina? Wish it had that other trendy thing–PAINT!

The console I’m completely okay with having, as it means a decent stereo fits… but this thing is crying out for a real engine. At least a 383, but really needs a proper BBC.
