Video: A Tribute to the A-Team Van

Video: A Tribute to the A-Team Van

In the 1980s, you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting a campy television show that featured a kick ass vehicle during every episode. Maybe it was KITT on Knight Rider, or perhaps it was Lee Major’s truck in the Fall Guy. For us though, it was the van that carried the A-Team around. The bitchin’ GMC sporting a row of lights above the cab and a wing hanging off the tail. BA Baracus was behind the wheel and bad guys never stood a chance once he dropped the hammer and spun the turbine wheels and peg-legged rear end.

They must have gone through a bunch of these vans during the filming of the series. They were not jumped with the destructive regularity that the General Lee was, but you can bet that every time the van took flight, the end result was not pretty for the suspension.

We found a video that has lots of show footage cut in with some “tribute van” footage. All of it is cool and brings us right back to sitting in front of the tube in our Hulk pajamas.

We can’t embed the video but we can provide you the link.
