Party Hard: Shoving Andrew W.K. And His Friends In A Drift Infiniti Is A Great Idea!

Andrew W.K. always wants to have a good time. The self-proclaimed “king of partying”, he’s part motivational speaker, part honorary Jackass team member, a couple parts completely unhinged multi-instrument musician, and a complete ball of energy no matter what he’s doing. This is a guy whose debut album cover was him with a bloodied face, and an explosive and simple sound that sonically has all the subtlety of a bomb blast while sticking to simple themes (girls, fun, and partying, mainly) and going at a breakneck pace. Andrew W.K. is the guy who brings the party to you, so what do you do to bring the party to him?

Drift car, of course. Andrew W.K. was one of the concert acts that played at Gridlife Atlanta 2016, which meant that he was in close enough proximity to Chris Forsberg’s four-seater, four-door 2010 Infiniti M35 drifting demo car. Packing 500 horsepower from a V8 raided from a Nissan Titan pickup truck and four Recaro buckets, this is the hell ride from heaven. With Forsberg at the wheel, Ryan Tuerck and what looks like Vaughn Gitten, Jr.’s Mustang running as a triple, the guys at Donut Media give Andrew and a couple of his bandmates a very up-close and personal view of what sideways fun looks like.

That grin says it all, doesn’t it?
