Carnage With Style Points: Eduardo Cisneros’ 2013 Crash At Virginia International Raceway

You can thank a Mr. Rich White for most of the footage you will see in this video. White is the man who was operating a camera at the 2013 American LeMans Series race at Virginia International Raceway when two Porsches, the black-and-white Porshce operated by Paul Miller Racing, and the blue and orange car, driven by Eduardo Cisneros, tangled with each other and came straight off of the track, into the grass, and straight into the tire wall at full speed. After bouncing into the air off of a barrier, Cisneros took a wild ride along the top of the tire barrier, scaring the hell out of some marshals who found themselves in the path of the flipping Porsche, before plopping down to rest, right side up, right in front of the camera, on the tires. Both drivers walked away from the accident, as well as the marshals and Mr. White, who only got out of the way when he realized that a Porsche just landed next to him.

One of the corner workers had her back to the action, bad idea. Once, while working the hairpin at Sebring I was presented with a Skip Barber car coming up over the tire barrier, that will get your attention.
