A Nissan Skyline R33 can hustle, even if it is the GTS-T and not the GT-R model. Your average riding scooter does not. Not even if a horse jockey who might blow away in a slight breeze is riding on it. Your average Rascal is meant to creep around with it’s human cargo comfortably on board in stores, on sidewalks, and anywhere else they need to be moved. Certainly, 140 miles an hour was never, ever in the cards, let alone drag-racing one of Nissan’s most legendary cars, yet here we have just that….with Richard Underwood riding, the “Granborghini”, a mobility scooter with the powerplant of a Suzuki GSX-600F, isn’t so much a what-if question but instead a confirmation that there is some Grade-A lunacy afoot. Riding on racing kart slicks, and still fitted with a basket up front, the Granborghini proceeds to put Godzilla right in it’s place. We wish that a microphone had been inside the Nissan when all of this went down in 2013…we would’ve loved to hear what the Skyline’s driver had to say about getting his ass whipped by a handicap scooter!
