This is a pulling event we have to try! It takes place on asphalt and is completely basic in nature. There’s a sled with concrete blocks chained to a truck and the truck’s job is to drag it along. The part we dig is that the stripped “truck” hikes the front end several feet into the air.

While it certainly is not a high speed thrill ride, we’d never get tired of watching big old trucks pull the wheels and struggle to drag this heavily laden sled down the course. 

The truck in the video has one of the 478ci gasoline-burning V6 engines we mentioned earlier today. Clearly the motor makes the grunt as the truck climbs up the ring gear with no problem. Seeing as we want to try something similar with Goliath this summer and our rear end ratio is close to being what this one has in it, we may be visiting wheelie city as well.
