In the realm of fantasy car chases there isn’t a match up cooler than this one! The guys over at Hot Rod Magazine got a General Lee and a Bandit Firebird together for a good old fashion romp through the country side. Jason Lewis was the dude behind the camera and he did a fantastic job of filming the video in the same style that both the Dukes of Hazzard chases were filmed as well as the stuff in Smokey and the Bandit.

While there isn’t any super duper top speed stuff, this chase is all about slingin; dirt, getting sideways, and the interplay between two of the most iconic “hero” cars of all time. Two talented wheelmen drove the cars, and you can tell that in a couple places where there is close action and perhaps an unplanned sideways moment or two.
