Morning Symphony: The Machine-Gun Blast Of A Skoda Fabia WRC Will Get You Moving In A Hurry!

Nothing will grab your attention faster than a strong anti-lag system getting strung up under boost. Nothing. Take it from a combat veteran…hearing a machine-gun POP-POP-POP! will scare the holy hell out of you if you aren’t prepared for it. Growing up, that kind of noise meant that a Mustang II was about to lunch a V6, but race fans, especially rally fans, know what a good anti-lag can do: by using air and fuel to keep the turbo spinning at full capability, the turbocharger lag issue that normally is a bothersome issue for a driver suddenly becomes a non-issue. This means that high-strung turbocharged engines can run at maximum attack with little to no wait time. Sure, a side effect is an exhaust note that might cause triggering effects for the general population, but it’s the noise of small-engine performance, and we like that. Just be sure to never use this as an alarm tone…rapid backfiring might not be what you want to wake up to first thing in the morning!
