Morning Symphony: The Sound Of Complete Reckless Abandon From The Burnout King Competition

I’ve done it drag racing, I’ve done it road racing, and I didn’t have a choice when it came to land-speed racing: that’s playing the safe card so that the car I was running could come back home in one piece. Everything I’ve ever taken to a track was driven there and driven back (minus, of course, that Camaro from the King of the Heap series, but I only got that car shortly after I started driving it and sold it before I had to take it home!) There is a satisfaction to going flat-out with no fear whatsoever, with no worry about the consequences, but for most people like you and I, that’s just not in the cards…parts and carnage is damned expensive! That doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t like to try my hand at it, but it does mean that until I score that winning lottery ticket, that I’ll leave the completely mental activities to vehicles I expect to die from the moment I sit down behind the wheel and professionals who have the pockets to support the habit, like these guys from the Burnout King contest at Perth Motorplex!

I don’t get it, seems like a waste of money and time!
    The Aussies love it though.
