Some of us are lucky enough to own a car or truck that once belonged to a beloved family member. And some of those cars and trucks were bought new by said family member. Such is the case with Johnny Merder, one of the talented folks from Ridetech. His Granddad bought this 1965 C10 pickup new and even taught Johnny’s mom how to drive in it. We think Johnny’s Granddad would be proud of the killer job he’s doing restoring errrr hot rodding it.

Johnny’s wife Rachael is on board with the rebuild and with any luck their daughter Holly will learn to drive in it just like Johnny’s mom did back in the day. Johnny’s Granddad isn’t around to see the truck come together in person, but we’re sure he’ll be proud when it’s done.
