This Is The Most BangShifty Boat Ever: Forget The Oars, These Dudes Use A Dirt Bike For Propulsion!

This Is The Most BangShifty Boat Ever: Forget The Oars, These Dudes Use A Dirt Bike For Propulsion!

(By Jason Mazzotta) – Sometimes ideas work better on paper than they do when played out and this is a rare case when the idea this group came up with worked out pretty good. What do you do when your boat is lacking an engine, no one wants to buy an engine, and no one wants to paddle?.. obviously strap your dirt bike with some paddle tires on the back of the boat and get after it.

This group of kids must be distant relatives to the guy that used a saw to power his boat across the ice this past winter, as they use the classic steam powered paddle boat method, only jacked up a bit. Once the bike is securely strapped down and warmed up they start to push the boat off into the water. The passenger in the front of the boat helping to balance off the weight keeps the nose down, and nothing but the rear tire in the water making for a great, well, paddle and sending a solid rooster tail of water behind the brilliant hybrid craft.

As the two embark on their water excursion the onlookers seem to be waiting for disaster, but only end up laughing as the idea of the dirt biker works to perfection as no one is wet, the bike is still in the boat, and the boat is moving across the water nicely. Turning? That’s a question for a different video.

Haha I know those guys. Was shot in GrandPrairie Alberta. The guy with the oar is an amazing welder fabricator.
