Twin-Turbos, The Curb Weight Of A Feather, And Room To Run: This SuperLite SLC Kit Car Stomps!

Twin-Turbos, The Curb Weight Of A Feather, And Room To Run: This SuperLite SLC Kit Car Stomps!

I’ll be straight-up honest: the reason that I wanted to show off this SuperLite SLC running at the WannaGoFast event in Georgia has nothing to do with what the car is. That’s a pretty bold statement, given the car: The SLC is a nasty LMP-inspired car that apes such greats as the Ford GT, the Pontiac-Riley Daytona prototype racer, and other similar race cars. The kit starts just north of $43,000 and goes up from there, and the engine isn’t specified…that part is completely up to you. In the case of this red and silver testament to anger, the engine is a twin-turbocharged GM LS that is only on seven pounds of boost. That isn’t a lot for any LS to take, there is plenty more, but either the owner is concerned about breaking something or has enough traction issues to deal with as it is.

Now, about that reason for showing this car: the license plate. That’s a direct reference to the Book of Revelations in the Bible…you know, the one that scares a lot of people when they read it? The horse is red, and it’s here to bring war. I like where this guy’s head is at.
