There is a reason why it is dangerous to break down on the highway. There is a reason why if you get stranded on a highway you are supposed to stay in your car. That reason is that it is an indescribably dangerous situation. These guys were in that exact predicament and making matters worse were two factors. The first is that they got out of the car which was in the middle of a busy highway. The second was that THIS HAPPENED IN RUSSIA. These guys are either completely unaware that their country produces the most bat crap nutso wreckage videos on a daily basis or they were just feeling like they had luck on their side when they conferenced at the back of their busted SUV with traffic whizzing by them.

It wasn’t actually the traffic whizzing by them that was the problem but rather the guy paying no attention and whizzing AT them that really posed an issue. Because the two men with the broken car were facing away from traffic, they were blissfully unaware of their impending deaths until the driver of the offending car made one of the most incredulous panic driving moves ever and managed to miss the men by literal inches at highway speed and still plow into their broken down car. If he man had simply swerved in one definitive direction, it would have been a close call but other than some freshly browned pants all would have been well. Instead, after making the move to the right to barely avoid killing people he went full left rudder and just mercilessly destroyed the broken down car that started this whole mess in the first place.

There is no way a Hollywood stunt man could pull this off in the way that this driver did in a sheer panic. You’ll watch it multiple times. We did.
