Wild Video: Helmet-Cam Video of a Dirt Bike Rider Scaling a Mountain

Tiny HD sports/action cameras have truly revolutionized the way us gearheads get to experience the triumphs and follies of our fellow brothers in arms. With companies like ReplayXD cranking out cameras that are about the size of a common battery and can be mounted anywhere, we get to go places that we have never gone before on video. This crazy video would not have been possible to make even 10 years ago without a ton of money and highly specialized cameras. Now, for under $300 you can make video that even the pros are envious of.

By pressing play below  you’ll see a totally insane dirt bike rider running up a virtual mountain in the snow! Best we can tell, the guy is inside a huge mine or something of that nature because the “mountain” looks to be overburden or dirt that has been piled there, but we’re talking a pile hundreds of feet tall. You really do not get a perspective for what he is doing until he gets to the top and looks around, then it is stunning.

The ride down from the top is pretty wild as well. Between our fear of heights and our total lack of coordination, we’re going to leave the wild dirt bike videos to dude’s like the guy wearing the helmet cam in this video. Stones? This man has brass ones!
