We’ve got tons more photos to share from Joe Grippo’s trip to the Hershey AACA Fall Meet, and if you have missed any so far, we’ve got a link down below. This is one epic show and swap meet that I’ve personally never been to but REALLY want to visit!

(Words and Photos by Joe Grippo) By now you probably have seen the Iron Trap guys excellent video coverage of the massive AACA Fall Regional Meet at Hershey. But here I come anyway with a metric-shit-ton of still photos from my almost week long odyssey of roaming the aisles of the Hershey Amusement Park and the adjacent Giant Center parking lots. The Antique Automobile Club Eastern Region has been hosting this meet since the mid-1950’s, and if you are into cars and really cool old car related stuff, this must be on your list of must attend events. Trust me when I tell you, you will see stuff there you will not see anywhere else or maybe ever again.

I am a Bangshiftin’ Muscle Car and Drag Racing freak, however I still get excited by anything with wheels and an internal combustion engine. Sure, there were Mustangs, Camaros, Mopar’s and Corvettes to ogle over, but I also get giddy over vintage Packard’s, Stanley Steamers, MG’s, and all the other orphaned brass-era makes. Huge 50’s and 60’s chromed up land yachts are everywhere at everywhere at Hershey, plus sports cars, vintage race cars and amazing motorcycles. This year we saw an influx of all year models of Woody Wagons, even a killer little custom built in the ‘40’s Woody based Hunting Dog trailer! If have Brad Penn flowing through your veins, Hershey is your jam. And it isn’t just vehicles, the old toys, memorabilia, and automotive ephemera is simply of the charts at Hershey. The unique vintage signs that are available for purchase to adorn the shop or your personal dude related safe space are mostly for the well-heeled collector these days, but they are fun to look at and dream.

We’ll kick this round of the photo extravaganza off with a look though the car corral and swap meet scenes from Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy, and if you go next year, be sure to have comfortable shoes, deep pockets, and a keen eye as there are definitely still deals to found.

More info:
