(Photos by Greg and Jason Rourke) – Our Meltdown Drags 2015 coverage continues today as it will for a LONG time to come thanks to the combined efforts of Greg Rourke and his son Jason. These two guys owned Byron Dragway last weekend with their cameras and the result is literally more than 1,000 photos left to show you in the queue. Yes, we’ll be running Meltdown Drags 2015 photos into 2016 if we keep up at this pace, right? While some people may have chickened out because of the projected forecast, tons more poured into Byron and had the time of their lives last weekend.

One group of cars that was featured at the event was the gasser group of Quain Stott. These guys put on an epic show wherever they pop up. The cars are highly regulated and stay close to the roots of the class and where it was in the late 1960s. That means big rpm, clutch dumping, sideways, leaf sprung fun. They are a perfect fit for this race and when you see the images below you will understand why.

Long live the Meltdown Drags!
