(Photos by Jay Oviatt) – BangShifter did last weekend what I plan to do this weekend, which is to attend the local “World of Wheels” indoor car show. The same company that puts on the Autorama series also puts on the world of wheels, so that’s why you will see the Ridler winning, “Checkered Past” Ford in this gallery and on display at the show. These events are welcome for us guys who live in climates where the glaciers close in late every fall and stay until the early spring. Seeing nice, polished stuff (and even ratty dirty stuff!) is cool and like here in New England, we’re sure the Omaha event is a hot rodder’s winter tradition.

From high end customs, to drag race cars, muscle cars, even a nostalgia front engine Jr dragster, the Omaha World of Wheels had it all. Hit the link below to enjoy Jay’s photos from the event and then hit the autorama website to see when the tour is heading to your town. For New England residents, that’s this weekend in Boston!

Thanks to Jay Oviatt for the photos!
