Consider this gallery your “people, places, and things” tour of the 2013 World Series of Drag Racing. We encouraged Bob ad Greg to spend time in the pits and anywhere else outside of the track wall to capture some cool images of the event and the “feel” of Cordova over the course of the weekend. As usual, the dudes delivered in spades and this gallery is the fruit of their labor. From great images of Karamesines and Beswick on the starting line to cars like the restored Little Red Wagon wheelstander an the original Chi-Town Hustler, you’ll feel like you are touring the pits.<\/p>\n
You’ll also see some bitchin’ pit vehicles and other crafts used by people to make their way around the packed facility all weekend. Chad reveled in the number of people who were camping at the place and the number of fans who literally supply their own scaffolding to watch off of. The beard was more than 20 ft in the air on our broadcast platform to make sure he wasn’t blocking anyone’s view! That’s about 10-feet higher than we normally are!<\/p>\n
