(Words and\u00a0photos by Bob Chiluk) –\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>The epicenter of muscle car mania, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals blew into Chicago for a weekend gathering of Detroit iron that has not been assembled together since they were ready to be shipped to dealers across the country back in the day. Bob Ashton and crew , the show promoter of the event always out do themselves on the assemblage of the rare , the rusty,and the not often seen muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s<\/p>\n

How about a bunch of Hemi powered ‘Cudas and Challenger ragtops. Or an assortment of Z-16 Chevelles. Buick GS convertibles,and post cars had their own areas of exhibition. An LS6 area\u00a0 and bunch of real Boss cars displayed as well. You won’t find any clones,hybrid or tribute cars here,as they all go through a strict scrutiny to verify heritage and originality.<\/p>\n

Ryan Brutt put another awesome display of as found barn finds that had the Rosemont Convention Center packed despite a record November snowfall. For those that were not around to enjoy the origins of the Muscle Car era,you get it at this show.<\/p>\n
