Like many things in life, seeing swap meet stuff after the fact may actually be more fun than seeing it in person. How? For starters you stand zero risk of buying something that would end your marriage, something that would get disassembled and never reassembled, and lastly you can mentally bench race the hell out of stuff when you are zoning out of the work you are supposed to be doing at your desk. eBay, Craigslist, the WantAd paper, and every other form of selling is great but it’ll never take the place of waking up in the middle of the night, swallowing an omlette whole at a greasy spoon diner, and walking six miles around the swap meet with your buddy on a weekend. There are some things that modern technology can not improve on and bartering with a weirdo over an old Holley carb face to face is one of them.<\/p>\n
