(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Between a t-bucket with a Ford Indy car engine in it and a drag car surrounded by an absolute pile of NHRA Wally trophies this round of 2016 Dallas Autorama coverage from Charles Wickam is great. You’ll see a great cross section of the car hobby in here. The fully done, crazy money, built for show cars with their elaborate displays to the awesome stuff that a guy with talented hands and brains built in his garage can be seen. The race car you will see basically ringed with a massive collection of Wally trophies is a Vega that belongs to Frank Kohutek.

What makes Frank interesting is that he is an IHRA division director that races that car whenever and wherever he can. There are US Nationals wins in that pile of trophies and you’ll see a few IHRA Ironmen in there as well. Lots of people work a lifetime and never sniff one of those bad boys. He’s got a bunch and likely lots more to come!

These Wickam photos are great. We know he was hustling from moment one at the show to get all of it covered and we still have lots more photos to share. Check ’em out!
