(Photos by Mike Brooks\/Octane Images) –\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>This sounds very redundant but the Detroit Autorama is a show for people who like cars and trucks. Here’s what I mean. There are guys who like Camaros and they only like Camaros. I’d argue that the guy who likes Camaros and those only doesn’t like cars, he likes Camaros. A dude like him would not see the Detroit Autorama for what it is, the greatest assemblage of hot rodding talents and ideas under one roof every single year. The economy sucks? Autorama will still be pretty freaking sweet. Economy is good? Your mind will be blown within 15 minutes of walking through the door. Hot rodding has weathered many storms to get where it is today and that is what has given us the skills, creativity, and craftsmanship of today’s top builders and thinkers in the hobby.<\/p>\n Detroit is where those people come to show off and this gallery is further proof.
