(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Despite the threat of rain and unseasonably-cool temperatures lots of cars came out to play. In this gallery we’re featuring older stuff from the car show, running brackets, and t-n-t. Many were doing a little of everything. In here we’ve got muscle cars, hot rods, classics, trucks, front-engine dragsters, and more. No action in this one – that’s up next.

I have to write some about the Barn-find A-body gasser originally from Winchester, KY. The car’s owner passed a couple years ago and the family only recently pulled it out and sold it on craigslist. The good part is the new owner lives in the Cincinnati area and wants to stay true to the car’s history. The guy who built this was good friends with the man that built the Rebel Rouser also seen in our coverage of this event. The grille insert on this A was cut from the same stock as the one in the Rouser. Word is it will be made running again and leave the rest alone.

A few cars that stood out to us –

Yellow ‘Cuda that seemed like a time machine from days gone by.

Beautiful, resto-modded GT 350.

Faded blue, flat-hooded, turbocharged Nova. Nearly sleeper goodness.

Enjoy the photos.
